Day 1 Arrival
After arriving at Athens International Airport, head to the hotel in Athens. Enjoy your overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 2 Athens-Sifnos
On this day, you are transferred to Port of Piraeus to board the ferry to Sifnos Island. Sifnos is a Greek island in the Cyclades island group. It’s fringed by sandy beaches such as Chrysopigi beach in the southeast, home to the striking white Chrysopigi Monastery. The long, shallow Vathi beach sits in a protected cove in the southwest. Sifnos is known for its traditional pottery and there are many small pottery workshops in villages like Vathi and Kamares, the island’s main port in the northwest.
Day 3 Sifnos ( Day at Leisure)
After a delicious breakfast, you have the entire day, free to explore the wonders of this world-famous island. Explore the many churches on the island Sifnos is known for its many churches. Depending on the sources, it is said that between 235 and 365 churches are located on the island, which makes ‘church-spotting’ a fun activity when sightseeing. The chapel of Seven Martyrs is probably the most popular church. Located at the entrance of Kastro, it sits on top of a cliff emerging from the sea. On the southeastern part of the island, the Monastery of Panagia Chrissopigi is also built on a rock, more specifically, on a peninsula connected to the island via a bridge. Built in the 16th century, it is associated with plenty of history and myths. Besides these, you will surely find forgotten chapels lost in the middle of nowhere and multiple churches. Stroll around the medieval town of Kastro The medieval village of Kastro is a fortified cliff-top village, east of Apollonia, Sifnos’ capital. Offering magnificent views of the sea, Kastro was built on the ruins of the former island’s capital and is one of the most picturesque villages in Sifnos. Part of the fortification walls still stand today and the village mainly consists of narrow streets, beautiful two-storey houses, old mansions as well as 16th-century churches. The village’s name comes from the castle that was built in the 15th and 16th century during the island’s Frankish occupancy.
Day 4 Sifnos -Santorini
After a scrumptious breakfast, travel from the hotel to Mykonos Port and board the ferry to head to Santorini Island. On arriving Santorini, rest in the hotel and then enjoy rest of the day as you explore the island and admire the spectacular view. During your free time, you can visit Fira, the capital of Santorini and enjoy watching the beautiful whitewashed cubic houses, Oia, a tranquil village, Akrotiri Archaeological Site and Red Beach etc. (Leisure activities are not included in the package). After a fulfilling day, relax during your overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 5 Half-day Catamaran Cruise Of Santorini With Bbq And Drinks
Setting sail from the southern port of Vlihada and following the coastline, you reach the red beach in Akrotiri, one of the most beautiful beaches of the island with a distinct red coloration caused by the rich in minerals and iron soil. Then, you will head to the white rocky beach, where you have access only by boat. Leaving the white beach and heading to the Venetian lighthouse, you sail below the Indian Rocks through caves and rock formations, characteristic to the Aegean landscape. After sailing below the lighthouse the yacht will turn and enter the caldera of Santorini. There you will see everything opening in front of your eyes. The picturesque white houses hanging from the cliffs like grapes, the cliff formations and the volcanic islands of Palea and Nea Kammeni. There you will have the chance to sail bellow the traditional villages of Fira and Imerovigli and the overwhelming rock formations consisted of basalt and pumice. From there you will head to the crater of the volcano, you will sail around it to have a full view of it and stop at the thermal springs for swimming at the sulfurous waters, that offer a natural spa. Palea Kammeni, an inhabitant volcanic island next to the volcano, offers unique private bays and beaches, ideal for swimming and snorkeling, perfect to enjoy your own privacy away from crowded locations. As you enjoy yourself the attentive crew will prepare freshly on board a delicious meal consisted of meat variety on barbecue, Greek salads and appetizers, accompanied with local wine and cooling beverages.The tour concludes after you disembark at Vlychada Marina.
Day 6 Santorini /Athens
On this day, after a lip-smacking breakfast, head to the port and board the ferry to Athens. On arriving at the port in Athens, you are received and taken to the hotel. Enjoy your overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 7 Departure
Today, after relishing a tasty breakfast, head to Athens Airport for your departure flight. Your delightful holiday ends here. Enjoy your journey back home.
